Jakob Anton Rothmund Born: 30 July 1797 Trun, Free State of the Three Leagues Died: after 1850 (probably) Zignau, canton Graubünden, Switzerland

Jakob was the son of Johann Thomas Rothmund and Maria Margarita Defuns, who married on 11 November 1794.

Jakob married Maria Margarita Nay. There is a gap in the marriage register between 1819 and 1838, so the date of the marriage is unknown, although it most probably occurred in Trun. The coat of arms of the village is shown here.

In 1826, Jakob and Maria had Margreta Catrina Rothmund.

Jakob and Maria appear in a census conducted in March 1850; they were living in Zignau. Their daughter's family appears in the next record, so they were probably living next to each other.
