Nicolaus was the eldest of three children of Nicolaus Lumbriser and Maria Catrina De Mont.
Nicolaus married Maria Appollonia (De) Cortins on 19 September 1762, possibly in Trun. The coat of arms of the village is shown here.
Between 1764 and 1780, Nicolaus and Maria had nine children, including Thomas Lombriser.
Some of their children were born in Flutginas, so the family lived there during that period.
Nicolaus died at age 53.
