Maria's parentage and place of origin are unknown,
although her maiden name was (De) Cortins. Another
source states that her middle name was "Balugna."
Maria married Nicolaus Conrad
Lombriser on 19 September 1762, possibly in Trun. The coat of arms of the village is
shown here.
Between 1764 and 1780, Nicolaus and Maria had nine children:
- Battesta (b. 19 Jan 1764)
- Mathias (1765 - 1820)
He married Maria Cargiet
- Maria Barbara (28 Jul 1767 - 1820)
She married Andreas Decurtins
- Maria Catrina (12 Dec 1769 - 1820)
- Conrad (b. 1770)
- Giachen Pieder (b. 25 Aug 1772)
He married Mariuschla Decurtins (1779-1840)
- Thomas (23 Jan 1775 - 9
Jul 1844)
He married Maria Barbara Soliva
- Christian (b. 1780)
- Christiana (b. 8 Oct 1780)
Some of their children were born in Flutginas, so the family lived there
during that period.
