Elisabeth was the third of ten surviving children
of Johann Nikolaus Wagner and
Elisabeth Frantz of Bliesen. The coat of arms of the village
is shown here.
Elisabeth married Johannes
Gillen on 12 (civil registration) or 18 (church
registration) February 1841 in Wallesweilerhof.
Between 1842 and 1857, Johannes and Elisabeth had eight
children:
- Anna Maria (12 Feb 1842 - 9 Oct 1920)
She married Nikolaus Kreuz (1825-1901), son of Johannes Kreutz and Elisabeth
Gillen.
Their son, Franz Kreuz (1865-1947),
emigrated in 1888.

He married Maria Ann (Mary) Mossing
(1849-1919)
- Barbara (13 Dec 1846 - 18 Feb 1895)
She married Johann Simon (1833-1907)

1924)
He married Margaretha Müller (1862-1942)

He married Catharina Kreuz (1855-1892)
He remarried to Katharina Wagner (1875-1944)

He died in infancy.
- Katherine (29 Nov 1857 - 7 Sep 1929)
She married Jacob Simon (1845-1909)
Jacob and Katherine Simon emigrated around 1885. They settled in
Amboy Township, Fulton County, Ohio, and had a total of fourteen
children.
Elisabeth died at age 64.
